If you’re a sports bettor like me, you’re probably looking for any type of edge the you can get to start winning. Whether it’s on TV, in the newspaper or on the Internet everyone is giving their opinion. Unfortunately, with all of this information not everyone will ever agree on which teams to pick that week. How many times are you watching a pregame show, and even the analysts don’t agree on who will win the game?
Just like any debatable topic, there will always be people for and against any issue and this doesn’t change when it comes to sports betting. You will never have 100% of the gambling population agreeing on which side or team will win that day and this is one of the main reasons why the sports books make money.
If you’re looking for sports betting advice, then my advice to you would be to listen to your own opinion. If you have done your homework properly, researched past historical trends and verify that there is no key injuries to report for that particular game, then you are way ahead of the general betting population. With all of the information and resources online today, there is really no data or stats that you cannot get your hands on.
After doing all of your handicapping and research, sometimes it’s just your gut feeling that will steer you in the right direction to making the correct decisions for that game. Just remember, you won’t win every game but if you can win more than you lose and you should show a nice profit at the end of the day. Good luck!
